In order to add an extra partition for the coming month in the TransactionHistory
table, the last (most recent) partition (TransactionDate >= '10/01/2004') needs
to be split. Select this partition and click Split Range.
In the dialog box that appears, specify a new boundary value November 1, 2004
and select a filegroup for the new partition.
