Once the partition from the TransactionHistory table is switched out, the empty partition that previously contained the September 2003 data is not needed anymore, and it can be merged with the extreme left partition.

Select the boundary point for September 1, 2003 and click Remove Boundary.

Finally, it is necessary to merge the partition, which contains the September data that was just added, with other data in the TransactionHistoryArchive table. Remove the boundary point for September 1, 2003 the same way.
